We met because of our names, we became best friends because of our shared interests, we created a business because we wanted to make a difference.

MiViDA Collections, “My Life” in Spanish, was born from our love of art, passion for fashion and desire to help those in need. Through hard work and with the help of technology, we turned this dream into reality.

Meet the Artists

Kristen Taylor

Kristen Taylor has spent her career collaborating with artists around the world. She has mastered the art of immersing herself in their culture and everyday lives to discover indigenous materials and techniques and seeing them with a new perspective. Then brings together different artists and craftsman to reshape these old techniques into new ideas.

She has worked in many different countries, including Africa, Thailand, Asia and Haiti and now Ecuador. She is known mostly for her internationally renowned line, Beadworx, full of whimsical wire and beaded hand made sculptures. After 20 years pieces are still being made in Haiti and being sold in specialty stores around the United States.
